Below I have compiled a list of pedigrees of some of the eight generations of Bearded Collies (counted in a straight bitch line) that have been bred in my family. My Mother founded Trollflöjten Bearded Collies in 1971 and in 1985 I started my own breeding program under the Old Smuggler prefix, continuing the line of Beardies that I had grown up with.

We have moved slowly through the generations. If you advance too quickly, breed very young dogs and continue with their puppies, I believe you will not have time to learn what strengths and weaknesses you are working with.
